Sophie is a Chartered Physiotherapist at Sports Physio Ireland with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. She specialises in the assessment and treatment of sports-related injuries and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
With a strong focus on patient-centred care, Sophie tailors each treatment plan to suit individual needs, whether that’s returning to a sport post-injury, improving overall physical activity, or managing chronic pain. Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, empathy, and clear goal-setting.
Sophie’s diverse sporting background in GAA, hockey, Pilates, and horse riding gives her a deep understanding of the physical demands and nuances of different sports. This insight allows her to connect with clients across all levels of activity, from casual exercisers to high-level athletes, in a supportive and motivating environment.
As a qualified APPI Pilates Instructor, Sophie skilfully integrates rehabilitation-focused exercises into her physiotherapy practice, using movement as a tool to build strength, stability, and long-term resilience.
